Facilitation

Successful meetings  are more than running on time and having an agenda. They are effective because they are focused on:

  • Achieving results
  • Creating actionable next steps
  • Soliciting a diversity of thoughts
  • Reaching consensus among participants

If this is what you want at your next meeting, I can help you. I bring over 10 years of facilitation experience and have the ability to:

  • Analyze the goals of the meeting and suggest a facilitation design that will meet them
  • Skillfully guide conversations using a variety of conversation methods (Appreciative Inquiry, ToP Method and Future Search)
  • Synthesize and communicate information that can be relayed back to the participants in “real time” throughout the meeting
  • Create solution and results-oriented meetings that include “next steps” and “action plans”

How I work

As a facilitator, my role is to listen, guide, observe and adjust the conversation, participants and –at times– the room to ensure that we have a productive conversation. Your job will be to lead and strengthen your relationships with the participants.

Types of meetings that I facilitate:

  • Brainstorming meetings
  • Strategic planning
  • Action Planning
  • Small Group Discussions
  • Workshops
  • Focus Groups
  • Stakeholder Meetings

Results that you can expect

Ideally, our work together will be from the beginning of your planning process (identifying the goals of the meeting) all the way through a final review (next steps and outlining responsibilities) of the meeting after it’s completed. Along the way, we will create an environment that will generate solutions, build teamwork, create leadership opportunities for you and your staff  and gather diverse perspectives that will help you reach your short and long term goals.
